Yesterday in Udine (Casa della Contadinanza), the magnificent concert of BRASS
BANG.
Recently born from the meeting of 4 great musicians, 4 brass instruments and a
great desire to make Music.
The great italian trumpeter Paolo Fresu, brought together names like Steven Bernstein, Marcus Rojas and Gianluca Petrella in a new project: a small-sized brass band with great soloists including poetry, humor, overwhelming rhythms and fun!

Impressive Petrella's trombone..histrionic. Incredible Marcus Rojas's lungs, indispensable for the success of the concert. Enjoyed performances by Berstein who, between one and the other improvisation -not only with the instruments ;)-, left Fresu the solemnity of the main themes. And the guy certainly did not spare himself.
At the end...as they entered, the four leave the stage, playing and walking between applauses.
A great concert and a beautiful experience... again beyond words and definitions: is it classic jazz, is it avant-garde or blues? is it Buscaglione? Who cares... is Music in his intimate, natural expression, as only LIVE can give… A special
thanks to Amici della Casa della Musica (Gigi was unfortunately absent) for the Great Music Program, and Stefano for the invitation.
See u soon ;)
